They were available as an aftermarket accessory in the Hi-Point catalogs starting in 1977 and were available for many different brands of bikes.So calling an Lectron "EFI like" really triggers me an FCR has more similarities to a EFI Setup . You may also try CV carbs thats bigger than stock 36mm one on drz. Its realy choked down and can handle up to a 40mm CV carb no problem. The DRZ guys are taking them off thier 400's when nearly new and selling them for $50 to $75 bucks. The Lectron makes just as much power as a regular carb but it is WAY more linear. This is nice on the cr250 and through the woods.
