I recently acquired a CECHA01 that has a power on time of 3 days total, it’s never been opened, never been updated past firmware 1.10, and it’s Blu Ray drive has never read a game disc before. I was more excited getting this than my PS5 lmfao. It's imo one of the most beautiful consoles.

Keep it well ventilated it will be fine. There is nothing that matches the look and functionality of the A01 so my vote is for worth it. Those consoles are prone to failure if mistreated, to keep it alive clean it out and replace the thermal paste once a year, keep it in an open space at all times to keep it cool.
